JUDGEMENT

Welcome to this weeks blog; I hope everyone is doing well in these uncertain times we're in and your relationship with the Lord God is going thriving. This blog is definitely based on a controversial topic but please do read 'til the end to get full understanding of what's being portrayed. Without further ado lets get into the blog.

Judgement is a very broad term in this modern era; people use the word for absolutely anything. If you tell someone that they didn't do something properly 'you're judging them', if you tell someone what the Bible says 'you're judging them' and God forbid you hold someone accountable for their words 'you're judging them' then too. Judgement and Judging seem to be in a lot of peoples' everyday vocabulary but what does it actually mean? According to Google the term Judgement means 'the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions'. This definition doesn't have any negative connotations but when judging is used in society today it definitely does. People who are judgmental are often viewed as narrow minded and stuck up yet according to Google all they're doing is coming to a sensible conclusion. For example, If someone tells me that they sleep all day, do no physical exercise and only eat takeaway I'm going to logically conclude that they're unhealthy and lazy. This is a logical conclusion but in todays' society it would be absolutely outrageous for me to say or think such a thing based on the information that I was given. Instead of being so judgmental and narrow minded (in other words logical) I should simply compliment the person for being alive because that would be more profitable and makes sense.

The use of judgement or being a judgmental person is frowned upon today yet people make judgments every single day; it is impossible to be alive and not judge. Every time someone makes a decision they are judging. A person looks at option 1 and considers all the pros and cons then looks at option 2 and makes the same consideration then makes a choice based on their judgement. We do this with people, food, clothes, events and the list goes on and on; it is impossible to be a functioning human being and not make judgments. For people then to give judgement such a negative connotation is not only ridiculous but extremely hypocritical. A lot of people don't realise that saying someone is judgmental is in fact judgmental. There is no way you could come to the logical conclusion that someone is judgmental without making a judgement yourself. This is the irony of a generation where people want to point the finger at others for doing something that's supposedly wrong while doing the same thing themselves. The enemy has turned the masses so backward that the very thing God wants us to do is looked down upon.

Lack of judgement upon the Earth is one of the many reasons the Lord continuously punishes the Israelites in the Old Testament. The Lord God gave mankind a brain to come to logical conclusions and decipher the differences between good and evil but they simply disregarded this by doing whatever they wanted and taking pleasure in others that did the same. We were created to be accountable to one another as human beings; looking out for each other and calling those out who went astray. Much like the Israelites people today don't exercise this; the majority want to do whatever they want without any repercussions from society. It's their life on their terms and if anyone questions them they are a hateful judgmental bigot. The Bible says truly that there is no new thing under the sun; what people did in past times they will do again and what people do now they have done before. In a society where people refuse to judge is it any wonder that many feel so comfortable being violent or taking drugs or stealing or harassing others? Is it any wonder that people don't have any regard for the laws of God or the laws of man? We have allowed ourselves as a people to become so mentally degraded that coming to a logical conclusion in a situation is viewed negatively; actually using the brain that the Lord God has given you is looked down upon. Many don't want to speak out against the wrongs of others for fear of being labeled judgmental. People care more about what people will say of them than doing what is right. Judgement or lack of judgement rather is an issue that plagues this generation.

The Word of God tells us that we should make righteous judgement meaning that not only should we come to logical conclusions on what we see but on what the Scriptures say also. It can be easy for us as humans to be swayed by our own emotions and rationale so it is important we weigh up things by what the Bible says. As children of God we should be exercising judgement daily; in our own decisions and in our outlook on the world around us. The World may view judgement as a bad thing but the Lord God certainly does not. The Bible states it clearly in the books of the prophets that the God we serve loves judgement and when there is a lack of it He will reign down His fury from Heaven. The word states that we; the called, the chosen and the faithful will judge fallen angels at the end of the age; so if we are avoiding making judgments now how on Earth will we be able to judge in Heaven? Do not be deceived by the precepts and social commandments of men that are not only contrary to the laws of God but make absolutely no sense. There is nothing wrong with being judgmental or narrow minded it's a compliment to hear people of the World say that you are not open to their views and values because we are not. Let God be right and every man a liar; the path to Heaven isn't going to fit every single ideology of man because it's narrow. I'd rather be viewed as a narrow minded bigot to man than as a rebellious witch to God.

There is a lot of false doctrine in the Church today in association with judgement which isn't surprising considering we are in the last days. So many false prophets are behind the pulpits leading the sheep astray with lies and heresies; one of the most damnable heresies is "Thou shalt not judge". This heresy teaches that no one has any right to say anything about anyone; to come to logical conclusions about anything. If someone claims to be a Christian and is having sex outside of marriage that doesn't mean anything, if someone in the Church is stealing the offering think nothing of it and if the Pastor in your Church is committing adultery with an underage boy don't even blink. Absolute heresy! It's sad to think that people today will not say anything to anyone because they perceive it as kindness to do so. People wont call out their brothers and sisters in Christ because it's none of 'my business anyway'. Where does it say any of this in the Bible? Does the Word of God not say that iron sharpens iron? Does Scriptures not say if your brother offends you to rebuke him but if he repents to forgive him? Does the Bible not say to test the spirits to see whether they be of God? According to the masses and many in the Church today the Bible just says these things to say them they're not to be taken literally or anything. Regardless of what your pastor, false prophets and wolves in sheeps clothing say the Bible is our final authority and the Bible says to judge. People may not realise this but judgement is for our own protection; weighing peoples' actions and words with the Word of God lets us know who they really are. People cannot just be trusted! You have to come to logical conclusions not only from what you see but with what God says this is righteous judgement. If you don't judge how will you know who's a true friend or who's a sound Pastor or who's a false convert? You need to judge to be able to decipher these things or else you will not only fall into a trap and waste your time but become spiritually numb.

There is a reason for every commandment in the Bible whether you like it or not righteous judgement is one of them. Many Christians have been led astray by social laws and false prophets but it's time to get back to the Word of God. It's time to understand that we don't have things all figured out and we need God; what the Lord God says matters and all His ways are true. If you have not been righteously judging you need to ask the Lord for forgiveness and repent because you can't only judge by what you see but by what the Word says. I already know everyone reading this is judgmental because there's no way you could live your life without doing so; so please continue to make logical conclusions. Do not allow the World to make you feel like you are doing something wrong by following the Lord. This World is truly lost and headed for sudden destruction so keep abiding in the Lord, letting your light shine bright and judging righteously.

As always I will leave you with Scripture from the Word of God about todays' topic.

Psalms 37:28                                                                                                                           For the Lord loveth judgement,  and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

John 7:24                                                                                                                                 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgement.

Matthew 7:1-2                                                                                                                        Judge not, that ye be not judged.                                                                                           For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Leviticus 19:15                                                                                                                        Ye shall do no unrighteous judgement: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

2 Chronicles 19:6                                                                                                                    And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in judgement.

Job 8:3                                                                                                                                    Doth God pervert judgement? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

Isaiah 5:7                                                                                                                                For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgement, but behold oppresion; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Hosea 12:6                                                                                                                              Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgement, and wait on thy God continually.

I hope that you all learned something new from this blog and it was a blessing to you. May the Lord God guide you in righteous judgement and all that is true forever. For those of you who are in the Lord I pray that you stay on the narrow path and those who don't know Him I pray that you repent of your sins and get baptised. Time is truly running out; we can see signs of the Lords' return everywhere. Do not wait if you haven't yet received Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour tomorrow is promised to NO ONE; today is the day of Salvation. Make a choice today about where you will spend eternity because Jesus isn't going to wait forever. I love you all but Jesus loves you infinitely more. Stay blessed.
